1. About Us
These Terms and Conditions govern all lessons, guiding services, and bookings provided by Yuki Yama Niseko Snow Sports ("Yuki Yama", "we", "us"), operated by Yuki Kawashima, based in Asahi, Kutchan-cho, Abuta-gun, Hokkaido, Japan.
By making a booking with Yuki Yama, you agree to be bound by these terms in full. Please read them carefully before confirming your reservation.
2. Bookings & Confirmation
All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once Yuki has replied in writing (via email or WhatsApp) with a confirmation message.
- Enquiries can be made via the booking form on our website, by email at yuki.nisekosnow@gmail.com, or via WhatsApp and Instagram DM.
- A 30% deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due 14 days before your lesson date.
- Bookings are personal and non-transferable without prior written consent from Yuki.
3. Cancellation Policy

To cancel or reschedule, please contact Yuki directly via email or WhatsApp as soon as possible.
Cancellation by Yuki Yama
In the event of severe weather conditions, lift closures, or safety concerns that make the session impossible to run, a full refund will be issued. Yuki will contact you as early as possible if this occurs.
Please note that typical Niseko winter conditions — light snow, cold temperatures — are not considered grounds for cancellation. These are part of the experience.
4. Pricing & Payment
- All prices are listed in Japanese Yen (JPY) and cover instruction and guiding fees only.
- Lift tickets, rental equipment, and travel insurance are not included and must be arranged separately by the guest.
- Prices are subject to change without notice. The price confirmed at the time of booking will always be honoured.
5. Health, Fitness & Participation
Snowboarding and mountain activities involve physical exertion and carry inherent risks. By booking a session, you confirm that you are in suitable physical condition to participate.
- Please inform Yuki of any medical conditions, injuries, or physical limitations before your session.
- Participants under 18 must have written parental or guardian consent.
- Yuki reserves the right to refuse or suspend a session if a participant's condition or behaviour poses a safety risk to themselves or others.
6. Safety & Equipment
- Helmets are strongly recommended for all participants. Helmets are available for rent at local shops in Niseko.
- For backcountry sessions, avalanche safety gear (beacon, probe, shovel) is mandatory. Rental sets are available from Yuki Yama on request (¥5,000 per set).
- All participants must follow safety instructions given by Yuki at all times.
- Yuki reserves the right to modify or cancel a session route at any time based on snow or safety conditions.
7. Liability
Yuki Yama Niseko Snow Sports and Yuki Kawashima shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, or accident that occurs during or as a result of participation in any session, except where caused by our own proven negligence.
Participants are strongly advised to hold comprehensive travel and activity insurance that covers snowboarding and, where applicable, off-piste and backcountry activities.
8. Photography & Media
Yuki may take photographs or short video clips during sessions for use on our website and social media channels. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform Yuki at the start of your session and we will fully respect your request.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Japanese courts.
